How can I book a guided city tour by bike?

The easiest way to do this is online on our website. Here you will find a price overview and available dates.

Private bike tours and special requests please email or call 069 695 2617.

Emails are usually answered within 24 hours.

Do I have to register for the bike tour?

Yes! Prior registration helps the frankfurtbiketour.com team with planning. Especially when the biking weather is at its best, our bike tours are very popular. If we know who is coming, we have enough bikes and bike guides on site and can keep the group sizes manageable.

Where do the bike tours start and end in Frankfurt?

Our city tour by bike and all other tours start in the district Sachsenhausen.

Our office is located in the backyard of Martin-May-Straße 7.

A frankfurtbiketour.com sign shows the way past the barrier. One look to the right and your bikes are already waiting for you.

The bike tour ends right there.

Only in the case of large private groups do we occasionally inform you that the meeting point is a few minutes' walk away in a park in the Brückenviertel district.

When do I have to be at the meeting point?

Bike start of our Frankfurt Highlights city tour is scheduled at 10:30 am.

Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before. The bike setup and briefing will take a moment. Register briefly, choose your bikes and then you are ready to go.

We cannot guarantee to wait for you if you are late. If you have left a mobile number, we can try to contact you.

Incentives

How many people can participate?

For over 40 years, the frankfurtbiketour.com team has been organizing incentives by bike.

Over the years we have planned a wide variety of cycling events for our customers. From small groups with the 8 employees of their handicraft business, over 30 members of their choral society up to large corporations listed on the stock exchange with well over 100 participants.

We offer a distinctive cycling experience for almost any size group.

To ensure that the experience is safe and enjoyable, we use several of our trained cycling and cultural guides for large groups. We recommend a maximum of 15-20 participants per guide, depending on the route.

Groups of all ages, even with different physical abilities, will reach their destination together thanks to our many years of experience in planning cycling events.

How do you make sure that everyone gets a suitable bike?

The individual bike adjustment, explanation of the ebikes and a short but important safety briefing for cycling in the group are part of every bike tour for us.

We rent 28 inch trekking bikes and city bikes with diamond, trapeze and waver frames. Most of our bikes have a 27-speed Shimano Acera gear system and a dynamo.

We also have a fleet of E-Bikes from brand manufacturers such as Kreidler, Kalkhoff and Velo de Ville. All ebikes have a low entry and have a powerful Bosch mid-motor installed.

For each of these bikes we have different frame sizes. It is not mandatory to tell us the body size of each participant in advance. Our bikes are flexible and we always have a few spare bikes with us.

Which bike tours do you offer?

You can find an overview of our tours under company outings or city tours by bike. But we can also work out customized cycling events in coordination with you.

Please contact us for this purpose.
